This print publication redesign involved establishing grids, type guidelines and incorporating a standardized identity system from Material ConneXion, a global materials consultancy and publishers of the quarterly magazine.

The subject matter would invariably center around materials-related solutions; the assignment required that the look and feel be thoroughly contemporary and playful.

The redesign brought an emphasis of color to the text (to offset imagery of materials) and a stripped down set of legal typefaces. This first redesigned issue used fonts from the Corporate Series (A, E, S).
